The Camas-Washougal Post-Record recently won a first-place General Excellence award for newspapers its size in Washington state and Managing Editor Kelly Moyer took home the first-place “News Writer of the Year” award in the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association (WNPA)’s 2018 Better Newspaper Contest.
Winners were announced at the WNPA’s 131st annual meeting, held Oct. 11-13 in Yakima, Washington.
Post-Record reporters also took home six first-place awards, four second-place awards and two third-place awards for news, feature and editorial writing.
