The 19th annual Camtown Youth Festival, hosted by the Camas Parks and Recreation Department and the Camas School District returns to Camas’ Crown Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.

The free community event, meant for children ages 3 to 17, offers a variety of games and interactive amusements, arts and crafts, entertainment, food, a petting zoo, skateboard activities, a puppet show, an art show, a children’s craft and flea market and several youth-related information tables.

The Camtown Youth Festival, a partnership between the city of Camas and the Camas School District, is supported by numerous organizations, businesses and individuals.

Children interested in selling or trading their toys and homemade crafts can purchase a 10-foot by 10-foot space at the Camtown Flea Market. Early registration for the flea market spaces ended on May 27, but interested youth vendors can still register for a cost of $10 per space or $20 per space for day-of registration. Vendors must provide their own table, chairs, canopy and other necessary items.

Visitors to the flea market can purchase items from the youth vendors, or trade for toys or crafts at the flea market.

Commercial wares and food items will not be allowed at the flea market. Items must be in good condition, and children must have adult supervision present. For more information, visit cityofcamas.us/parks and click on the “Special Events” tab to find the flea market links.
