The city of Camas Parks & Recreation Department will launch the inaugural Camtown Arts & Music Festival on June 6 at Crown Park, reintroducing the longtime Camtown event as a broader arts and culture festival for all ages.

The free festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature live music, performances, art demonstrations and hands-on workshops throughout the park.

“We are excited to reintroduce Camtown in a whole new way,” Jacquie Hill, the city’s parks and recreation special events coordinator. “This festival honors the spirit of the original event while expanding it into a broader celebration of the arts — creating space for all ages to participate, explore and experience creativity together.”

The festival will include performances on four stages, a marketplace featuring local artists, makers and vendors, youth entrepreneur booths, food vendors and community partner exhibits. Interactive art activities and cultural experiences also will be offered.

The festival is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Street parking will be available in the surrounding neighborhood.
