Residential community opens in Camas

Shawood at the Glades, a Camas residential community, celebrates its grand opening on Jan. 15.

Shawood is a brand of Sekisui House, the fifth-largest homebuilder in the United States. The residential community, located at 5437 N 94th Street, features Shawood’s “next-generation homebuilding technology,” according to a news release.

“Furthering its mission of making home the happiest place in the world, Shawood is redefining residential construction in the U.S. through its signature post-and-beam structural system, Bellburn ceramic exterior tiles, and a holistic design approach that blends sustainability with Pacific Northwest serenity,” the news release states. “Homes at The Glades are precision-engineered to deliver durability, comfort, and long-term performance, including lifestyle technology to build homes designed for the present and future.”
