The Washougal Community Market will return for its second season this summer, bringing local vendors, musicians, authors and nonprofit organizations to downtown Washougal each week.

The market will be held from 2-6 p.m. Fridays from June 5 through July 31 at Reflection Plaza, 1703 Main St.

City officials said the market is expanding after a successful inaugural season in 2025. This year’s event will feature additional vendors, an expanded live music lineup, local author appearances and community activities.

“The city’s vision for the market is to create a welcoming local gathering place that showcases local businesses, authors and musicians while fostering community connections and creating opportunities for people to connect and support one another,” Rose Jewell, the city’s community engagement manager, said in a news release.

The market can accommodate up to 20 vendors each week. Products available throughout the season are expected to include berries, baked goods, locally raised meat, wine, honey and beeswax products, plants, cut flowers, wood crafts and skin care items.

Live music will again be a regular feature of the market, along with weekly appearances by local authors. The city also plans to host community engagement activities, including a prize wheel and informational booth. Visitors can receive complimentary canvas market bags and Washougal postcards while supplies last.

“We’re especially excited about the additional vendors, expanded music lineup and the new authors tent this season,” Jewell said.

The market will also include a rotating “Get to Know You Booth” featuring local nonprofit organizations and community groups. The booths are intended to connect residents with local resources, services and volunteer opportunities.

Additional information, including weekly vendor lists and entertainment schedules, is available on the city’s website.
