A judge last week set bail at $300,000 for a man accused of fatally shooting a Washougal man in a Minnehaha townhouse and then fleeing to Portland.
Cash Devlin Cavett, 19, of Portland appeared in Clark County Superior Court via Zoom wearing a suicide-prevention vest. Cavett faces an allegation of first-degree manslaughter in the Aug. 26 death of 18-year-old Loic Swindler, as well as tampering with evidence, theft of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a pistol. He was arrested the same day at a gas station in Portland.
