Camas-Washougal Fire Department to host open house

The Camas-Washougal Fire Department will host its annual open house and safety fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Station 42, 4321 N.W. Parker St.

The free, family-friendly event will feature live demonstrations, including kitchen and vehicle fires, a house fire and sprinkler simulation, vehicle extrication and an interactive vehicle fire suppression demonstration for children. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit also will give an exhibition.
