Camas officials mull 50-50 split to keep officers in schools

Former Camas principal takes legal action

A former Camas School District (CSD) administrator known by many as “the founding father” of the district’s project based learning (PBL) schools is taking legal action against the district for what he considers wrongful termination and discrimination.

Washougal High jazz ensemble spreads cheer

One day earlier this spring, Blake Perkins, a Washougal resident and Vancouver-based dentist, learned that one of his longtime patients, Ray Johnson, was struggling with his cancer treatments and was in a lot of pain. Johnson’s wife told Perkins that her husband “wasn’t having many good days.”
