Camas friends Alisa Wise, Denise Clegg and Liana Gulzow (left to right) conquered the Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico together March 20. Tyler Bowlin leads off the fifth inning with a double Monday. He would score the leading run on a perfectly placed bunt from Michael Hickey that was thrown away by Woodland. The Beavers tied the game again and forced extra innings, before the Panthers scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth.

A lucky bounce allowed Washougal to score the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning and defeat Woodland 4-3 Monday.

Josh Bischoff tosses the shot put 48 feet, 5.5 inches to finish in second place Thursday, at Fishback Stadium. The Washougal High School senior also won the discus event with the throw of 153-3.

The Camas High School track and field squads beat 20 teams from Southwest Washington, Olympia and the Big Island of Hawaii at the Tiger Invitational Saturday, in Battle Ground.
