David Garcia, owner of HEARTH Wood Oven Bistro, said he is on "Cloud 11" as he prepares to open the restaurant Wednesday. Pizza toppings include Kalamata olive, vegetable, pepperoni and lamb curry. In addition to seasonal fruit desserts, HEARTH features a variety of wines from the Northwest, California and Italy. The Fort Vancouver Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently chose Hannah Jones, a Camas High School senior, to receive the Good Citizens award. It is open to all seniors in high school, and is based on the qualities of good citizenship, including dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. Hannah is the daughter of Steven Jones and Emily Ransdell.

City of Camas crews will be completing chip seal repairs on local roadways this week, causing street closures. Division Street from Northwest Sixth Avenue to Northwest 12th Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
