Washougal dedicates new downtown mural

The city of Washougal and the Washougal Arts and Culture Alliance dedicated a new mural Oct. 15 on the west side of the Washougal Civic Center near the corner of Durgan and C streets.

Created by artist Jeremy Nichols, the mural incorporates elements of Washougal’s history, culture, natural environment and growth. The artwork combines realistic depictions of native wildlife and plants with abstract illustrations and historical imagery, inviting viewers to discover details that reflect the community’s identity.
