Carlos E. Slaughter Carlos Eugene Slaughter died June 23, 2011, in Camas. He was 22. Carlos worked for the Eastern Washington University Alumni Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the University's Alumni Association: 506 "F" St., Cheney, WA 99004, 509-359-4550.
Lila E. Pierson Lila Pierson, of Camas, died June 14, 2011. She was 100.
Wanda J. Aebel Wanda June Aebel, of Washougal, died June 10, 2011. She was 61. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Prindle Park. A reception will follow. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Gloria G. Kuldt Gloria Grace Kludt died peacefully May 18, 2011, at The Quarry Senior Living. She was 81. At her request, there will be no services. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations can be made to Kaiser Hospice.
Phyllis M. Cure Phyllis Myrtle Cure died May 18, 2011, in Vancouver, with her daughter and granddaughters by her side.
Lillie I. Anderson Lillie Irene Anderson, of Camas, died May 15, 2011, in Clackamas, Ore. She was 77. Her life will be celebrated during a funeral service at Straub's Funeral Home on Thursday, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
Michael J. 'Mike' Patterson Michael J. "Mike" Patterson died peacefully at home in Washougal with his loved ones beside him May 2, 2011. He was 79.
Virginia A. Cox Virginia A. Cox died April 27, 2011, at home in Vancouver. She was 57. A rosary service will be held today, at 7 p.m., at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m., at St. James Catholic Church in Vancouver. Visitation will be today, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
