Chamber Music on the Mountain returns to Camas

He’s been bringing celebrated classical musicians to Camas for nearly two decades, but this year’s 17th annual Chamber Music on the Mountain concert series, which comes to Livingston Mountain for live performances on Sept. 14 and Sept. 21, will be bittersweet for Peter Christ.

Painters to take easels into the great outdoors

Local artists will be working “en plein air” (painting outdoors) throughout downtown Camas on Friday as part of the Downtown Camas Association’s annual “Plein Air and Art” event.

Heritage Day to highlight local history

The Camas-Washougal Historical Society (CWHS) will host a free opportunity to connect with local history at the annual Heritage Day celebration, slated to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Two Rivers Heritage Museum in Washougal.
