Lack of jobs frustrates teens

‘Anxiety is through the roof’

Meals on Wheels People is asking for community support as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services lays off 10,000 employees, a move that may hamper the nonprofit’s ability to address hunger and isolation among older adults.

Go east for gorgeous wildflowers

The sun shone bright, birds zipped around the sky and tiny, vivid purple, yellow and white flowers flared at my feet.

On one of the warmest, sunniest days so far this year, the Lacamas Heritage Trail in Camas teemed with joggers, dog walkers and people shaking off winter with a stroll along Lacamas Lake.
