Camas preps for long-term planning project

The city of Camas is gearing up for an extensive planning project that will include a comprehensive plan update, climate change goals and subarea planning in the city’s historic downtown.

Six years apart, Eliisa Marshall and her younger brother Brady ran the exact same race at the exact same event in the exact same amount of time.

Officials laud opening of new Washougal park

Washougal neighbors oppose adventure park

Mike Duzan and Lindsey Brown have been living in their home on Washougal River Road since 2021. They love so many things about it — the seclusion, the stillness, the peace, the quiet, the proximity to the Washougal River, the abundance of wildlife, and the support of the “up-river community,” to name a few.

Camas teachers continue to strike; 1st day of school postponed

Camas public school teachers are hitting the picket lines for a second day Tuesday, calling for better class sizes; equitable funding for music, health and library programs; and a cost-of-living salary increase that keeps pace with local inflation rates.
