Washougal schools manager honored for conservation efforts

Jessica Beehner, the Washougal School District’s facilities, maintenance and grounds manager, is being honored by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE)’s Columbia River chapter for her commitment to energy conservation and sustainability.

Port of Camas-Washougal CEO to retire

Port of Camas-Washougal Chief Executive Officer David Ripp has announced he intends to retire in 2024, following a port management career that has spanned nearly three decades.

Teen center set to open in Washougal Jan. 19

The Lone Wolf Jiu Jitsu Academy in Washougal and The Outpost, a Washougal-based network of ministries, churches, community members and other organizations, are preparing to launch a teen center that will focus on mentorship and bullying prevention.
